The guide of local speciality food producers in the Carlow Kilkenny region was nominated for a prestigious Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) award. BNS and its partner Carlow LEADER were selected as one of over 30 tourism brochures nominated for the national award which took place in the Burlington Hotel on the 25th of October. The 'Savour' guide features 35 seperate food producers and is one of a series of guides which LEADER companies throughout the country are issuing to promote the efforts of niche food producers. On the HSMAI awards night 'Custom Ireland' took the top prize for their brouchure, but BNS and Carlow LEADER were, as they say at the Oscars, just happy to be nominated!
