| Barrow Nore Suir Rural Development (BNS) is a
local development company which through the delivery of the LEADER + programme
is addressing the rural development issues of the County Kilkenny and south-east
Tipperary region of Ireland. The company is based at 42 Parliament Street in Kilkenny
City and operates with a full time staff of three and with two part-time members.
All decisions regarding policy and grant-aid are made by the BNS Board of Directors,
which is drawn from a wide ambit of the sectors and organisations interested in
rural development in the catchment area. The Board of BNS rotates its membership
periodically to maximise representation and accountability balancing that need
with the importance of maintaining the vital skills gained through Board experience. |
